I take it back. For some reason I thought we were by Harbor Springs. It was actually St. Joeseph so I guess we were still a few hundred miles away from Harbor Springs. But in June we will do the whole lake tour so I will get to check that out for sure. Nothing like riding along the lake unless its a big ocean of course. When I drove my brothers 67 vert Karmann Ghia along the coast in California from North to South I can honestly say I thought I had died and gone to heaven. This car of course was extremely modified and was about 3.5 inches off the ground. Handled like a Porsche and man were my arms sore after that part with all the hills and corners. But beautiful and a great tan time it was.

I am all about the ride. I have the whole summer off to be a transient and this summer I intend to take it there on my bike. Two years back I drove to Washington and came down the coast of Oregon in to California. 7k in two weeks. Slept in my car the whole time I wasn't driving exept when I got to Washington to look up an old flame. Was an incredible time with my three little dogs. That was a bit of a drag at times which is why I opted to drive and sleep in my car the few hours at a time I did drive.
Washington was the most beautiful scenery along with Oregon I have ever seen. I kept on wishing I didn't have pets to take care of because I would have ridden the bike there. But nonetheless we live in an incredibly wonderful place that most never even get to know in their lifetime.
Heck I live in Chicago and the people here often never even leave their neighborhoods. Incredible.

Love your Scooby! My last two cars have been Subaru's. My '01 has just turned the clock twice, (203,000 miles). AutoX'ed and Rallied it too. Now my 2nd daily driver. My 650R is my daily driver now with a '78 KZ650 being rebuilt in the garage.

Show more pics of rides (motorcycle) up there, but if you have any of your 2.5RS show those too. Here is mine when I raced in the desert for a RallyX.

god damn it that road looks like a blast! I was just up there a couple weekends ago. A bunch of guys at the camp ground I was staying at told me about it too. Unfortunately, I was camping with Harley guys who spent more time fixing their bikes and didn't have time to ride up there from the Traverse City area. But hey, I probably had almost as much fun on the Leelanau peninsula and around Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. Those damn harley buddies of mine can't get it in the twisties anyway.

Wow! All I have to say is that my ride around the lake this was my all time favorite part of it! m119 Rocked with the exception that I got stuck behind a group of Harley fucks that didn't know how to ride around the corners. 20 miles an hour? I would have passed them on my bicycle had I had it with me. I love all of that area around there
Will post up some pics later once I get around to downloading, shrinking and uploading.
