Sturgis anyone?

oldkaws4ever and I might be meeting up at Sturgis this year. Anyone else thinking of going? We are thinking of going for the last day and maybe hang out for at least another day afetr everyone is gone. That way we get to see mommy parts and get some good riding in without the huge crowds. :laugh: Start making plans now and I'll post up later to check and see who can make it.

Yup im as good as there.....as long as my z1 project stays on schedule, and i dont run into any unforseen isues.

Why go to Sturgis without the crowds. That would be like weekend riding at home. I don't get it. I go to Bike week and Biketoberfest every year so I can ride, mingle, see the bike shows, the day after nothing is happening but traffic going home.

i will be there but i get there sunday and leave on tuesday. if it is going to be like this past year there won't be anyone there anyway. i never really found the crowds that bad. just dont try and go downtown late in the afternoon.

Going for sure but I think that it may be 1 or 2 weeks before the crowd gets there. I might just keep on going to California and back about the time that Sturgis is really happening.

i'm going to be there for the whole two weeks watching the racing doing lots of riding and checking out mommy parts i'll be staying at the lonestar camp ground just north of bear butte.

damn right i will be there, only 350 miles from my house!!! I will probably be there most of the week and will be riding my 810 streetfighter. That will be great to meet up with a bunch of real bikes (I mean old kaws). A few of my friends and i will all be riding up on our kz's, and maybe a HD or two. (my 810, my 750, 2 buddy's on 750's, and a 1000). I have talked to timebomb about meeting up and getting a bunch together would be pretty cool. We will most likely stay up around bear butte and stay at the Chip a night or two to see a few concerts and mommy parts:) .

right on brother hear it for the mommy parts god i love body paint. hey who's going to have the oldest kawi there this year i bet it's me. i'm building a new motor for the trip right now 1197 with 33 smoothies and and a gpz head on it to keep the compression down and my brand new v&h sportsman pipe on it for sound effects.

Well it sounds like we might have to come when everyone else is there. I'm not opposed to crowds so anytime is not a problem for me. I'll check with Jim and we'll see whats up.

Just let me know when were going and i will make sure the the bike is buttoned up and ready to roll. Im not apposed to crowds either.

remember body paint is great thing on soccer moms gone wild bring lots of batterys for your digital camera and be ready to have some fun.

batteries are a necessity. You go through alot of them when your camera is on taking pictures 24 hours a day for a whole week. You end up getting sweet pics like these though if you are on top of your game
