Nice! I'll probably need to get one of those eventually, which makes me wish I'd done so when they were on sale 3-4 years ago for $279.99.

EDIT: Not a DD signature edition - just a plain one.

OTOH I did go to HF and get another 500lb capacity hydraulic lifting table; it is now the engine stand for the KZ440 project. Well, it will be more of a stand when I actually make the brackets to hold the engine in place rather than relying on gravity. If I get the impact driver after it now, it will just roll off on to the floor.

I see them on internet pop up ads on my computer all the time at 16 % off of $599 which brings them down to $499 - Also if you apply for a HF credit account you will get another 10% off which makes it $450. I used that to talk the craigslist seller down from $475 to $350.

I bought my barely used HF lift for $175. I made side tables from an old single bed frame. They are 11" wide on each side. I can remove them quickly with 8 wing nuts per side.

Attention Kawasaki addicts!  We are going to have another get together in October or early November.  I am putting out 4 dates to see what works best for everyone interested in coming.
There's still a few T-shirts leftover from our summer event and I hear one sold on ebay for $125 and sent to Japan.
Location is Zukey Lake, Michigan once again unless Brad Cole aka "Shankole" gets his way and we have it at his place in Britton, MI.

1) Saturday - October 1st
2) Saturday - October 15th
3) Saturday - October 22nd
4) Saturday - November 5th

Dirk Digler will be there of course signing autographs and grilling venison flank steaks.

Hope to see you there!

I hope our work and fun get togethers catch on
Could be the start of a  world wide  event of how KZR folk can socialize and  help each other out to keep our bikes going forever....
The knowledge shared by our group is priceless

I wish there was something like this around here. I like working on all different kinds of bikes. My best friend from highschool and I have built our collection buying $500 dead bikes from the back of garages and carports ect... and resurrecting them. When we started Paul had two running bikes (05' Fatboy and 90' Moto Guzzi 1000 Le Mans) and I had one (84' Honda Sabre 700). Now we have 12 bikes plus we've done a few for other people.  When we finish the KZ 1000 LTD we'll start on the 83' CB 1100F. Then they will all be riders.

It would be great to have a working get together here in the Puget Sound area. I have a 1400sqft 3 bay shop with the center bay set up for working on bikes but I don't know if there's anyone on here that lives in the area.
