If you followed Kawasaki's road racing efforts back in the '70's this name is well known to all of you.

Yvon duHamel left us today. He was 81 years old.

If you ever saw him muscle the 750 H2r around a race track, you never forgot that sight the rest of your life!!!!!!!

 

 

1972 H2 750 Cafe Racer built in 1974.
1976 KH400 Production Road Racer.
1979 Kz1000 MK. II Old AMA/WERA Superbike.
1986 RG500G 2 stroke terror.
1986 GSXR750RG The one with the clutch that rattles!

Up in the hills near Prescott, Az.

81.  Doesn't seem possible.
We can tell we're getting older when the fast guys we followed & identified with in the day start to pass away from old age.
