A couple more I thought you guys might find interesting. The stickered toolbox thread reminded me of the refrigerator, and for me it was really cool to see the actual KZ650 that set the 750 World Record. My first new Kawasaki was a bright red 1977 model .

Thanks for the link DOHC, that was interesting. I didn't realize Pee Wee Gleason was a F.T. racer, I just remembered his name from American Turbo Pak, and the fact that if anybody wanted a fast E.T. Drag Racing their product they had P.W. riding it. I recognized a few of the riders names as motorcycle editors and road racing stars, but the only two people I knew personally were Randy Davis and Martin Carney who both worked for KMC, both in the Q.A. Dept when I met them. Martin came to the Kawasaki Plant in Lincoln in the late 70s to share his 2-stroke engine expertise with the the Engine Repair Mechanics, He later "babysat" me on my first trip to KMC in 1984. He was from Great Britain and had raced at the Isle of Mann, I loved his accent and the fact that he taught me British slang, as in "wanker"!
