Looking for updating my Z1000J 1983 was created by Escobar89
So,
I just bought a kz1000/Z1000 from 1983. I am looking for update it with some higher rear absorber, wider swing arm and wider wheels, including some minor parts like newer foot pegs/shifter.
Do you guys have any idea, what kind of swing arm that would work out with at least custom built at least.
My first post, so i might put the questions in wrong subject, sorry for that if so
Thanks in advance!
Regards.

The 82 Suzuki GS1100E swingarm is a really easy swap. Its boxed aluminum, 2" longer and a 150 tire will fit. It requires a different set of shocks but your replacing those anyway.

That sounds Great mate! Would you be able to recommend any rear absorber that would work with The swing arm from The gs1100e?
Any other mods that would be needed to fit The swing arm?
(sorry for my bad english, i'm from sweden )

that looks like a clean original bike. any suspension can be made to fit. Depends on how much chopping you want to do. The gs1000r was a race bike and probably not what your are talking about.

Hi Escobar, I am just popping back up here, have been neglecting my bike for a long time but just getting into it now. I have a GPZ1100zx swingarm, with wheels from the same model. So up to a 140 rear tyre which looks great but I prefer the 130 .
if you want the really fat rear you will want to convert the front to match,.
You don't see many black ones, I say go black again, maybe do something different with stripes.
