Signal Light Repo Question was created by 650Dude
Im now on holiday and everyone is asleep. Of course, Im surfing the web thinking about bike parts.
I have a few Kawas and the stems and signals on the rear of my 750 are pitted, faded chrome.
So I was looking through items on ebay and noticed shorter stems and repo signals seen below.
I wanted to pull the trigger on these so they would arrive by the time we get back home we flew this afternoon and are back on Jan 2.
My question is, the lights on my bike have the wires going through the stem (of course). But on the SHORT STEMS linked above, I cant figure out how on earth the wires go through. Can someone tell me if the set I am buying above would be problematic? How do those wires go through what looks like a closed stem?

The back signals have 1 wire for flashing and the fronts have 2 wires, 1 for running lights that are constantly on and 1 for flashing.
Some stems are only set up to handle 1 wire.

Any suggestions for a rear set? Someone tipped my bike today and the rear stem broke.

You should be able to route wires thru the short stems. I didn't see a link in your topic post.
The stems are kind of a universal size: the threaded end is the same size as the big headlight bolts (10mm).
