Also, the buy it now, or best offer option does not leave a trace of what the best offer is, it just says that you paid the asking price, again, driving prices up

Aha! :woohoo: :woohoo: I see, never Looked at it that way! It would be easy I suppose for someone to be a "false Bidder"  and drive up the price  and if for some reason the finalized transaction didnt happen   ( Wink,Wink) it would just get "relisted"?? Gotcha! Makes sense! I have actually seen similar activity and suspected the same thing on bike Parts sales.  ...Guess it just didn't register as far as folks doing same on bikes!!

The blue Z1B was spot on perfect motorcycle. All the 73's had poor restorations and this one listed above, if the link is correct selling for $23K has a major issues, just a piss poor restoration. By know means am I an expert but any Z1 enthusiast should have noticed there is no chain oiler tank on the bike, not even the hole in the side cover for the dip stick. However the right side side cover has what appears to have hole in it. ?? Also Cheap crap hand switches and 4 cent zip strip wire ties wtf
I can take a guess about the side covers but then again what do I know

That's funny Greg! I never gave it the once over. You missed the stabilizer bracket on the right side down tube cracked off and just left. Weaver's is coming up Saturday too. He has no wire ties on the left and only 1 on the right side? No small rubber cone on the back fender for the plate vibration.
And? Were the stabilizers optional? I know they were dated coded.
Good to see though! The Values. Good day to watch online if I had 6 hours to waste. There's a Green 76 KZ900, Z1R silver/blue turbo, and that weird mystery machine with the Vetter.
And buy the way Greg! when you scored that last deal of parts and bikes, I said you had a horseshoe in your ass! Yea! It is a solid gold one, not gold plated! Care to divulge what $$$ those 2 you just picked up?? How far away did you drive? Hope you have the side covers for the #2 American edition 78, They had that same decal like the tank or similar.
But good for you! Keep flipping them!
