Not so bad Cop? was created by mzandmz
Out side the other day,Had the Bike looking good in the driveway, Cop does his weekly drive buy and does a double take while moving real slow. I decide to go up to him as he stops his car. He starts to say what a sweet bike,Then said I should be out riding on a nice day that it was. I told him I didn't have my endorsement yet or permit either. He said "" I wont tell anyone "". Thought it was funny

Cop: er....yes that bank looks fat and juicy plus I just heard the security system is expected to be down for a week not to mention the vault door can't be closed until then either. Fine time for old Edgar the night guard to get the flu huh? They say he'll be two weeks before he can come back to work. Man! I can't wait til 11PM. All us cops meet at the donut shop across town for our nightly bull session......That patrolman Poncherello is a funny man. :P :P :P

Cops ride too, that would be shitty of him to tell you that and bust you. Legal is always the way to go but sometimes we test ride when the urge hits.

I've been pulled over a few times on a bike and no tickets. Most are reasonable, but then I've never been pulled over on a Harley or a sportbike. I've been pulled over on my KZ once, but he claimed to not be able to see my tags and let me off.

If a cop said that, I'd have offered to race him, see if he takes you up on it. Have him put the lights on with siren and pretend its a high speed pursuit over 0.25 miles  .

I'd say give the cop the benefit of the doubt. I still believe there are some decent police officers out there. And besides, I can only imagine how many illiterate morons on sport bikes these guys pull over every day. I'd bet that 95% of them don't have their motorcycle licenses. So, assuming you speak good English and can carry on a decent conversation without calling the cop "bro" or "dog," I'd say you're in the clear. ;)

Well I apologize. What did you want me to say? I hope you get pulled over and ticketed. There.

Then we can start paying off Obama's deficit with tickets for everyone who goes 31 mph in a 30, 46 in a 45, and so on. Should clear it up in no time.

And besides, I don't know about everyone else, but I'd say life is pretty good anyway.

Back in the early 80's a mechanic friend of mine got caught out on a Yoshimura race prepped bike and got pulled over, the cop took it for a little ride then told him to get that thing back in the shop. LOL

Being a decent police officer includes the ability to use your own judgement in any situation and adapt as you go. If you think the law is black and white on the streets you haven't talked with many police!

Besides, what do we KZriders have to worry about? We all do 28 in the 30 zone, 55 in the 60, toe the line and never ever think about such a terrible, world destroying act as speeding. Tut tut.
