anyone think i can sget this guy in the 1/8 mile...so you know he doesn't ride quite as well as me and he hasn't run the strip yet..where i have 6 times..
his bike is stock except for a yosh pipe..

You should be able to. Those guys always pop the front wheel up and back off real fast. I was killing all the bikes last year because they pulled the front wheel up and freaked out. They would always win in the end but they got nervous off the line thinking a 28 year old bike was going to beat them. This year I'm hoping to beat a bunch of them with my new 1075 kit and big carbs.

Don is right. Everytime I see a street bike run with a new rider, they always have HORRIBLE launches. They either bring the front up and have to get of the throttle or they rev the hell out of it until the light turns green then they take off at about 1500rpm because they are scared to wheelie. They have not yet learned how to slip the clutch.
