78 kz650 cafe racer project was created by oldkaws4ever
I just picked up this 78 kz650 cafe racer project off of Facebook marketplace for $200. Was told the cylinders have light rust in the bores but I haven't torn into it yet. My plan is to borascope the cylinders and see what they look like. If there is slight rust I'll pull it apart and ball hone the cylinders and put new rings and rebuild the head and put it back together. I don't think I'm going to change anything on the bike. More to come when I get it back to the shop.

Yeah me too. I'm going to pick it up this weekend. It looks pretty good in the pictures. I want to get the motor sorted and put in and get it running. I would like to put an led headlight and a cafe racer fairing of some type on it. Should be a pretty awesome bike. He says he has everything to put it back together.

Where you located? I have a 77 650 roller with good motor and titled I'll take $300 for
