I’ve certainly considered that. The ones you linked to look like they might hit my handlebars, are there lower profile ones?You might want to invest in adjustable preload fork caps-

I don't know about lower profile ones, and the handlebars limit adjustments to maybe 1/4-1/2", but that's actually plenty to fine tune. You can also adjust the preload before fastening the handlebars much easier than having to remove the fork caps and modify the spacers for each adjustment.
