I love the green or blue color on KZ bikes.
Here is a nice BMW "San Marino Blue" KZ 650 paint job DoctoRot did. Color code is B51.

Scirocco: me too! But since I already have a blue and red bike from before (50cc) I'm thinking I might go green on this one, kawasaki is also notorious for its green color.
How about something like this:

I also like the green the best. And I definitely prefer that the side covers are painted green to match instead of leaving them black.
Although I'm not sure about the side cover pin stipes running under the emblem. I see the concept of continuing the strip from tank to side cover to tall, but I think it looks too busy running down below the emblem. Maybe try another sketch with it running along the top of the side cover?
Here is another idea to sketch. Maybe just make some part of the very top of the side cover solid "white", where the white is color matched to the pinstripe?

Love the green. That is going to be one sharp 650 once the paint goes on and the engine is shined up. Nice job!

ThatGPzGuy: thank you
I've been offered a Rickman Centura fairing for ish USD$300 + shipping and was wondering if anyone have any experience with these? I think it would be nice for longer trips etc.
I would have to fabricate some mounts, but I'm not totally sure about the fitment with the lowered headlight
