A warm Winter day here at 15*C/59*F.
Decided to try and start the ZRX and KZ.
Need to run the ZRX then top up the coolant as I drained it over the Winter.
Oil top up needed too.
The KZ had a gas leak to start, but a quick repair to the fuel filter and she fired up with no leaks.
The KZ with her Delkevic exhaust sounds better than the ZRX I think.

Tank badges and Glove Box added.
The tail on my KZ650C2 has been raised for some time to fit closer to the Giuliari style seat I have on.
I've noticed there's a fair amount of space under the seat & tail.
I can fit a piece of 2x4 under there.
A little cutting of the tail to allow access back there:
Found a box the approximate size to fit.
Ideally something in plastic or metal would be better.
Or 3D printed.

Looks like your left side tank badge is a way out of horizontal level and both are positioned to far to the top and front of the tank.

The badges are slightly smaller than the stock 650 badges.
I put tape down before applying the badges, but the left side did go down wrong.
Didn't help being in tight quarters and not standing back to have a good look.
I tride pulling it off, but it's on there pritty good.
May try with a heat gun some time later.

Someone had mentioned to deal with the side stand and stop using the piece of 2x4.
I was a bit worried someone might knock her off the 2x4.
I bought another side stand recently, as the one I had was missing an appendage.
I took both stands to a Welder, and had them extend one 2 1/4"
Now the bike doesn't lean over too far.
The longer shocks on the back don't help.
I will be painting the stand soon.
Gold foot pegs are on the way.

I bought a GPZ1100 side stand for my 750R1, I can't remember how much longer it is but it's definitely longer, I've also removed the side stand mount and are repositioning down a bit so it doesn't lean so far out..

The blue footpegs were not working well, being darker than the blue paint job.
They just didn't look right.
So bought them in Gold.
Ties in with the handlebars and other gold bits.

Managed a ride last week while the weather was warm.
The footpegs feel good; a little lower with 20mm extension, and better grip than the smooth round pegs I had on last year.
Riding the bike again after 5 months felt great!
Good to get the bikes out of the workshop.
