Well, almost. I didn't have any fuel line so I couldn't get her to run. But, after sitting since 2013, I'm EXTREMELY happy!

Today I'll be picking up some oil, filter, and fuel line to hopefully take her for a spin ina few days.

She's running!!!! I'm so freaking happy! I do need to rebuild the carbs. Cyl 2 (rt) is leaking from the bowl, have to fix the main fuel line, and set the idle.

And by chance, does anyone know who makes custom speedo & tach cables? The ones I have are too short.

A big thanks to you for drawing up a harness for me! I would have taken me a lot longer to finish if I had done it a different way. And a lot cheaper than buying a "custom" harness.

I tossed the Shadow Phantom seat again to see what all i had to do to get it to fit. And it turns out that with the stock tank, just some rear mounts!

Oh, and I fixed my Instagram account so y'all can see the videos.

Last night was body work night. I should have used a normal sized spreader instead of the small one for the side of the tank. I didn't take a picture after I sanded but I do need to add another thin layer. More body work tonight.

Finished the body work and laid down primer last night. Hoping to lightly sand the tank and a second coat of primer.

So the primer lifted on the entire left side of the tank. A little disappointed at myself but I haven't done body work like this in almost 15 years. So a little extra time sanding and cleaning before shooting another coat of primer. Hoping to do a light sanding then spray the first layer of color. Fairing was prepped for primer last night and the side covers were painted. I think one will have to be reshot because I think theres a run in the paint.

And I'm gonna design a third cluster since I'm not gonna run the Suzuki dual gauge.

Just a friendly pointer here - when making things out of metal, never leave sharp inside corners (see red circles). These are stress risers and cracks will develop. A better method would be to drill a hole and cut tangent to the hole, leaving a smooth inside radius. Good job getting the bike running!

Thanks for the reminder. If I use that set up I'll fix those.

Rattle can matte black. I need to lay down one maybe 2 more coats then the matte clear before this is done. Side covers look good, so they got a nice coat of matte clear. The fairing is gonna be next.
