Hi. I’ve Ben trying to decode the vin on my kz400 I don’t no what year it is it’s in a box of parts lol the vin is k4-101767 and engine is k4e 141927 Can any one help me out
Try CycleChaos.com or Zedder.com. From the info at Zedder it may be a 79 KZ400-B2.
Also, the motorcyclespecs.co.za site has info w pics for many motorcycles, but it doesn't have frame or engine numbers. a KZ400 will be listed as a Z400 there.
