I owned a z1 in 73 and 74, friend owned it in 75 and 76 then sold.
25 years went by, around 1996, I wonder where my z1 is, started looking for it very hard, could not find.
Told a friend looking for a 73 z1, did not expect anything.
Month later he calls, found one, went to look at it, bought for $500.
Another month goes by, friend calls again, found another one, went to look at it, bought for $500.
Five years later found the one I owned in 73, third owner still has it.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Great story about finding your old bike. I bought a new Z1B in 1975. Sold it around 1987. Got out of motorcycles when I started a family. In 2014 I started looking for my old bike. Instead I found another Z1B and bought it. Then in 2016 I found another Z1B and bought it. Both are now restored but I am still looking for my original bike.
