KZ 440 LTD - Shiny shiny!

Looks like you got yourself a good project,

Is the side cover actually missing? Like some attempt at an "open primary" ? Or had you removed it? Lol

The side cover came in box with other side covers and a second engine....

I think i have bought and refurbished the wrong gpz 750 brakes. Instead i should have bought these i guess:



On paper they seem to be a better fit....

Is that brake rotor really as badly grooved as it looks in the picture?

Wow! Is it salvageable?

I would ask the folks at the site below how to measure the thickness of that rotor to see if it can be resurfaced. If it can they can do it properly for little money; if it can't you should replace it. Ed

Thanks, but i think i will try to find someone in europe doing this

But the surface of the disc isnt that important to me; if i finished the conversion successful, the 440 will have two discs instead of one. And the other disc looks way much better...

The Brakes from the KZ750E are fitting quite well beside the fact that the mounting plate is 5mm too thick. So some milling has to be done....
