78 Z1R was created by Nola
Hello, been a while since I was last on....finally gonna get to the Z1R....had a few other bikes get in the way..
Sold the H1 as I liked looking at it more than riding it....so pretty though....

Thruxton R is my go to....

Killer K is a keeper!

....but they are finished and now on to the Z!

Following your project with interest.
I have always liked the Z1R.
The '78 came in a nice colour too.

Your other rides look great, so I'm sure this will too.

and an another Z1R comes to his old glory.
I wish i can get one for an acceptable price here in Germany.
Be leave it or not Z1R are disliked here and sale of sleepers.
The last bikes are sold as a special edition with 4-4 exhausts and the larger 20 liter fuel tank
but only 11 were sold,

Kawasaki stopped the selling because the exhaust made vibrations and the brake fluid was foaming in the rear master cylinder.

Thanks guys.....not gonna be an overnight project.....but as money allows it'll got done....will be a resto mod as opposed to a stocker....forks are being upgraded internally, I've ordered a swinger from trac dynamics, and il be adding modern shocks as well.....paint and graphics on body will definitely stay factory....love that colour!

Cheers
