Am I the only one?, I cannot get access to the pictures. I get a 504 warning.

I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

Please see marked photos. This stared with the below picture showing rear wheel offset to the left

Then comments were made to remove wheel and check spacer arrangement. That has been verified and are in the correct order. Some have mentioned the sprocket carrier was sitting to deep into the hub see photo

Now see the below marked up photos of the bearing in question

Scirocco,

Thank you for the info. It will be a day or two for me to confirm and comparing. At first glance yours and mine are similar. But I will get a caliber gauge to check mine. Do you agree that my carrier is sitting to deep into the hub?

Hello Mikaw

as i say, your sprocket carrier looks ok for me but has to be proven with my measurements.
your carrier is sitting correct into the hub
in my opinion something else (swingarm) is out of specs.
donĀ“t be shy to ask me, my swingarm is out of the frame for cleaning and polish,so i can do more measurements if needed.
if you need, i can switch metric to inch on my vernier caliper.
