Kz 750e rear sets was created by drgnknite
Was wondering if anybody has put on rear sets on their cycle, and the handling was. I know it changes rider position, and I imagine cycle respo se as well. I'm leaning towards a cafe racer, putting a drag bar on and a tail cone. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated.

The GPz & L model footpegs are several inches further back than the 750E pegs and are a (almost) direct bolt on. I installed them, along with the brake pedal and shift lever, on my 750E and noticed a big improvement. Only tricky part is adding the shift lever stud to your existing sprocket cover (you have to drill and tap a hole).

I've got RAASK reasets on my 750R1, I like very much. You won't ever scrape these pegs I doubt. (see avatar)
You may need to modify the sidestand, I used a longer 1100 stand that fitted just right, avoiding welding in another stand bracket...although the ELRdonor bike wasn't too happy.

Another one of mine, 1977 KZ650. I had to make most parts for this one. I used the passenger peg brackets and welded in bolts. I then turned down pegs on my lathe using aluminum roundstock. I threaded the pegs and screwed them onto the bolts I welded. I then fabbed up the linkage brackets and rods. I love the rearsets on both bikes, I feel more in control and way more comfortable, at least for me it feels more natural than sitting straight up.
