StreetfighterKz wrote: I used Epoxy Appliance paint on the wheel as well as several other parts on the bike. It requires some good prep and once cured (1 week+) it's pretty tough stuff.
Pulled the masking off while the last of 4 coats was still a bit tacky. I think it came out great!
To be cont'd...
LOVE the wheels. NICE !!!!!

I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

I've seen the rear Brembo caliper used on top (Ducati 750/900SS) or the bottom (Monster and 74X/9XX models). The only thing that I may have to change is flipping the pad spring
Mopguy,
I stripped the rim using Aircraft Stripper bought from the hardware store. Took several applications to get all the coating off the machined lips. I grabbed some Blue Magic Metal Polish Cream. No particular reason I went with this other than there was a warning that it contained ammonia. I figured it must be pretty decent stuff with a warning like that. Lol. I used a lot of elbow grease and a couple old cotton tube socks to get it to shine.
