Progress has been slow lately as winter finally decided to show up. I was able to apply the POR15 to the seat pan before it got too cold. It's not pretty, but it will prevent any further rusting of the pan. I used some vacuum hose cut down the middle as an edging for the upholstery to wrap around. I also got an LSL Clubman headlight. I need to get some stainless cap screws for it. I've got a few parts on order. Maybe I'll find some motivation to install them when they arrive.

In stock trim it looked like my 750 ltd I inherited from my dad that I am restoring from the ground up. I wont be modding it for sentimental reasons, but I like what you have done with yours. It's amazing how a little change here and there changes the look so drastically.

Everyone seems to be getting 750 ltd's lately! I don't mind the stock bike (except for the buckhorn bars). It's an extremely comfortable bike from the factory.

Thanks. The gauges are from Dime City Cycles. They are both mechanical.

Which ratios did you go with on those gauges? I'm really digging the look but want to make sure my numbers are going to be relatively accurate.

The speedometer ratio is 2240@60 mph. The tach ratio is 1:5.

I replaced the front brake hoses with stainless braided hose. I decided to ditch the junction block and run 2 separate lines from the master cylinder. No more squishy brake lever! The rear brake is next. I put some semi sintered EBC pads on the rear, and noticed the rear master cylinder has a leak. I'll be rebuilding that and replacing the hose.

It looks like the mini-tach is still using the stock cable. Is that correct?

Yes, the stock cables can be used on both of the mini gauges.

Here is a picture of the gauges when they are lit. The backlight bleeds into the indicator lights a little, but it's obvious when they are actually lit as you can see from the neutral indicator. The tach seems to be working correctly (engine is at high idle in the pic). I have not rode the bike with the speedo to verify its accuracy.
