Today, I noticed some smoke coming from my crankcase breather. Is this normal? The bike sat outside last night and was pretty wet this morning, my guess is condensation burning off.
I recently removed the emissions hoses are they were pretty much destroyed. Did an oil change (valvoline 10w40 motorcycle oil), and added the breather filter instead of having a wide open hose running down the side. I'm not sure if it has always had this faint smoke or I'm just noticing it due to the new breather.

Checked the valves yesterday all in spec except the #4 intake. I cut down a suction cup to remove the bucket and it worked really well.
I decided to do the 530 chain conversation, ordered 16 and 38 sprockets and a JT chain. I got everything in the mail today except the rear.

I finished up a top end rebuild, then went through the electric system. Ditched the rear fender and added an led stop and turn signal strip.
Like most projects I keep coming up new ideas. I would like to make a new seat and get the electronics a bit more organized.
The PO drilled out the exhaust so I want to put a 4 to 1 on it. I like the delkevic exhaust but do not like the price on it so I am checking out other options.
During my research I found that a zr7 exhaust should be able to fit pretty easily. I found a few on ebay for about half the delkevic.
Does anyone else know of any other stocm 4 to 1 exhausts that might work?

So far the bike has been running awesome. Unfortunately, I have found two leaky spots. The first is at the tach cable.
I think an oem cable will solve the problem. I got a cheap on from amazon and the leak started after that. I put a new o-ring on tach gear already. Still leaking.
The second is right at the base gasket. It is a very slight weep. Nothing major but I just put a new gasket on there and that really pisses me off. Not sure if that is worth ripping it apart again.

For the base gasket leak, maybe re-check your torque values.
