A little post of how my first build is progressing, starting from how i got it, up until yesterday.
I picked its up in october but for me one of the hard parts was finding a place were i could work on it, that alone took 2moths but it has happened now. i got it into the workshop just after xmas and this is my progress so far.
This week i will clean up all the tabs i cut off and mock up the rear loop ready to be taken somewhere to be fabbed and welded (i cant do either)
would love some ideas on tray for electrics, was thinking of running a shoraipower.com/lfx14a2-bs12-p66
So will build that into the tray postioned at the back triangle (if that make sense)

You can mount the electronics under the seat and tank. A hugger type rear fender
will be needed to protect them.

Im a little was off paint for now buuuut,
The first pic is where im aiming for look wise give or take from the bikes stance
Im wanting matte black frame, well pretty much everything matte black apart for the motor which i all so like the color of above bike. I would all so try and match the color of the front forks and rear drum to the motor.
Tank wise im thinking again matte black and keeping the pinstripe effect using this green
And having the KAWASAKI logo sprayed in carcol
Please add your thought, pics you like and ideas in here that might open me up to something i hadnt or wouldnt think of

Did the mock up of the rearloop (with some PVC) today and tried out my new headlamp
The little stick of plastic holding up the loop is cut so long that the tire wont rub if the shocks bottom out
