I really liked my old KZ750LTD. Daytona bars ... 2:1 headers good Dunlop tires, S&W shocks..... Etc. But it was a tank.
A freight train on rails.....trying to throw it around in mtns.
Not anywhere near my choice for a cafe racer style bike.
My Yamaha Daytona 400F.... Wow, that was great cafe project.

I wonder if a starter plug for a 1000 would fit? Mig ht be worth contacting APE.

I don't disagree. I just love singles and twins. Always have, I guess a better alternative would have been an xs650, but I have a loyalty to kaws. I plan to get a w650 ASAP. In the meantime I have done almost everything to lighten this bike minus a fiberglass tank, I'm stoked to see the outcome.

I looked and didn't see plugs for the electric starter hole just block off plates for the kick starter! I'll check your link thanks!

Texas kz I think that will work! Im assuming for 2 more dollars the vented one is worth it. it doesn't hurt to have a vent in the ignition casing with all the oil moving around, I understand it's more applicable to a racing setup but any downfalls for a performance/commuter kz to run the vented plug other than having to buy a filter?
