I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

NEGATIVE, hope it to be the first "full"season
So, new starter clutch and bearing, piston rings and oil AND.....
Belly-pan will be installed shortly after some test runs.
Smoke is due the cold weather (-5° C) and new piston rings,I hope
Q: Is the Wiseco 810ccm kit only way to gain more ccm for 750?
What about the 900 to 1100 top(cylinder and pistons) replacement? Will it fit?

No, the 900/1000 parts will not fit on top of the 650/750 motor.
A complete 900~1400cc engine will though, with a shoe horn.
It's been done before.

Will tell later about jetting.
Right now I have my eyes on donor 750, but its a "stick" driven one: is the engine general the same(gears, clutch etc)?
