Back before I put the new roller bearings in I welded a tab on the lower front side of the head tube which worked perfectly with the stops on the forks. I just had to file down the sides of the tab slightly so as to get as much turning radius as possible.

After shortening and relocating the side stand I discovered it's still to long, so back to the drawing board. Thought I would get a bit more creative with this one so I utilized an old 1 1/4" wrench I had laying around for my foot on the stand.
I'll try this out for a while till I figure out something different...

Here she is for the summer!
Not planning much more than riding out the bugs and getting her ready for paint and all that good stuff come winter.
I already know I'm going to have to do something with the exhaust, but I'm working on that one already...

Thanks, It's not finished yet..... I doubt it ever will be, but I'll keep tinkering through out the summer and post any changes.

Looking at your battery box,you might want to drill some drainage holes in it. You dont want to have the electrickery floating away when you get caught in a downpour. Just a thought.
