Just picked this up recently:
1982 750 LTD with 4800 original miles. Went to the NC mountains with my son last weekend to try it out:
2nd day it started running rough and idling strange. Fuel bowls had all kinds of strange looking crap in them. After removing tank (which looked pristine), I found these inside.....
Apparently, the tank lock came apart at some point and the pieces dropped in and were left to do their thing....
Other than that, it was a super weekend. This is really a great bike.

Nice bike! Looks really clean. Great pictures as well, especially the motion shots.

Lifes journey is not to arrive at the grave safely and in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, shouting ''Holy sh*t, what a ride!''

Stayed in Asheville and rode S. on the Blue Ridge Parkway then came back and went N. . Great road, not too crowded and perfect weather.The_New_Kid wrote: Where in the mountains did you hit? looks like lots of fun!
