1978 kz650 sr- long time project/first bike mostly gone
1979 kz659 sr- new acquisition NEXT project GONE
Both 650s combined to make one great bike! with a new powerplant
it is a 79 frame, 78 front end, both 78 wheels and brakes, 78 body work and a 80' 750-4 motor with gpz 750 cams and a kerker and...

you can see the "old" bike in the background with the tank on it. patiently waiting to be transferred.
the next day was saturday! alll day off and my girlfriend was out with her mom for the day! SCORE tons of work time i got so much done, and lucky too it was nearing the end of summer and i had to go back to school, 2 hours away by august 18th the "engine" night was the 12th... IM RUNNING OUT OF TIME!!!
so i wake up early and get to work putting the front end back on, mounting the tires, and fender
rear tire on
got the brakes all hooked up, and a few other things. but i was tired... sunday would be a good day

You are coming right along on your project. Looks like you had fun painting that frame. I bet you got some black hair out of that deal. I know I would.
So does the slide cycle smoothly on your #2 carburetor? I'm assuming that these pictures of the carbs are after re-assembly.
