Thanks guys! Rock store photos ( www.rockstorephotos.com/ ) did the shot. I kinda liked the pic, so he worked on it.

Not too fast, the sun was low, so I bet the photographer used a longer exposure which blurred the background. It was taken coming out of the main apex of the "Snake" on Mulholland Hwy.

The embedded maps don't work.

Well, I FINALLY got my Lester's mounted. I had to take the bike and wheel to a machine shop to get one of the KZ RH spacers machined down as I was mounting a Z1 front wheel on a KZ. It was quite a process, three weeks in the machine shop, two visits, and countless phone calls to make sure the guy was actually attempting to work on it.

Took the "scenic" route into work this morning, the Lesters are especially noticeable when turning. They didn't seem that much heavier than the spoke KZ wheel, but I guess they provide more of a gyroscopic effect. Next time I'll take it out, I'll crank my steering damper way down to see if that was the potential culprit.

Pics to follow soon. B)

Where did you get the shocks? You mentioned they are Progressives but they look like the stockers.

Sweet bike! I think we are heading down a similar path!
I am currently prepping mine for the dual front disc setup from a '78 LTD. If you have any questions, I'll try to help!

Yes, they are Progressives, I got them from Z1E. Get the chrome springs and the chrome endcaps and they look pretty close to stock.

Thanks dude! Dual front discs are next up, a single disc on the Lester looks really awkward...

Thanks, I think that's exactly what I will do. Yeah, that up front caliper and single disc has character but looks kinda goofy
