Well Maybe Not Completely Done ............But Good Enough to Ride.
Some more cosmetics on the engine covers, and Who knows the law about turn signals?
Do you have to have them?
I always thought all you had have was a tail light, brake light and headlamp. Turn signals were optional because you had an Arm for those. B)

Does anyone know where to buy a replacement Starter Button switch assembly?
Not just the Button and spring, but the internals inside the housing. The backplate of the contact cracked, now everytime i switch gears or pull the clutch the starter kicks in because the button is always making contact. I see where i can buy the button and spring but i need the rest of the pieces beyond that thru to the wires to replace the entire piece.

Andrew, your '79 came out just how I hope mine will someday. I was worried that that the cast wheels wouldn't look as good as spokes, but yours look awesome. I think I'll put some padding on my seat, though.

1 question: How long do you expect the engine to last with no air filtration and the rear tire slinging all road crap into the air intakes - 300 miles?

What happens when you hit a bump, your rear tire shreds and you lowside into traffic?

I hope that doesnt happen because you fix that minor issue.

Answer to the 1 question: long enough to sell the MF. Just kidding. The pods are on. Its like a girl without a top on. More sexy topless for the picture. And incidentally the shocks were at their lowest point and have been extended out 3 positions. Rides just fine. No rubbing or shredding of rear tire.

Good to hear. Raising the shock settings only adjusts the preload, it doesnt extend the shock and raise the bike. ;)

Yeah the rims turned out pretty damn good. They make the bike look pretty tough. And no seat padding for me. Its a Cafe Racer. No need for comfort when your racing to the next cafe or pub ehh!

Well whatever I did to the shocks it raised it up off the faux fender area and I'm not rubbing a hole in my battery and electronics area.

damn you guys are good at picking out that rear tire and shocks that go up and down but thats ok he put it on number three setting it wont hit fender and hacking bike and dont know what you are doing?
