Well it will be interesting to see what you do with it as it wasn't that bad looking before. The original exhaust was slung too low for street IMHO and I couldn't go with the rigid link. What is the final idea, straight liner, cafe, corner junkie???
What part of Ohio you in?

Cool! That's my style also. I got you by 1 year. 53
Finish it, too. Not like me.
I have a similar project that has been sitting for 5 or 6 years now.
Then I started 4 other projects.
Rake the neck a little.
Bigger rear tire. Extend the swing arm. V/H sidewinder. Make only left hand turns

ok i am back. i will start out with the front and work my way back. to let everyone know i am building the bike for short trips here and there it is not for long trips.i got a set of gsxr 17" wheels the front is 1998. i will say this is not as easy as putting it on and go! i tryed to use the stock kz rotors but on the wheel it was way to wide to fit in the kz forks i was trying to make it look as close to stock as i could. i had to do alot of research and come up with suzuki marauder rotors they had the offset and diamiter i needed.put the stock kz caliders on well, the rotors are alot thinner than the stock ones so the calibers could not clamp tight enough to stop it so i went with the marauder calibers also.the rear axle fit the wheel bearing perfect so all i had to do was turn the ends down to fit the forks. i also used the kz speedo worked fine. put a shinko 100 tire on it and i think a saber fender ( i am not sure i forget ) went with tapered bearings in the trip tree new fork rebuild and it was done.
