And the best part? I smoked my buddy's VN2000 yesterday. Like it was nothing. And that's with a stock 900 motor. Imagine what will happen when I drop in project #2 (mk2 1045 motor).

That build came out real nice, well done....
Speedo/Tach... I've seen them on J&P Cycle website....
What gearing selection you use on the speedo/tach or you go with electronic pickups?
You may want to throw a write up on how you accomplished for several members would be interested no doubt.... Just a thought...

Take it from me cuz I found
If you leave it then somebody else is bound,
To find that treasure, that moment of pleasure,
When yours, it could have been.

The speedo and tach I got from dime city cycles for 60 a piece, the tach is electronic as I'm running a dyna 2000 the speedo is 2240/60 and I'm not sure yet if it's accurate as I haven't found anyone that can ride right beside me... lol.

Could use GPS to compare speed readings.
Meanwhile, indicated 60 is often about 55, with lower speeds being slightly more accurate and higher speeds being wildly optimistic. 100 indicated is likely closer to actual 90.
Triumph has, or used to have, a fairly accurate speedometer.
Good Fortune!
