I did my first seat on my first Z1 back in 97, it was a little more involved, suede leather, with stitching, I taught myself, the trick with foam is trim with a electric turkey carving knife, no shit

I still have a tiny valve cover leak but thats OK for now cause I know the oil is flowing. My oil light is still on but thats a wiring problem, see thread in engine section

stone......just you mentioning my incomplete bikes as "nice" tickles me pink. i cant believe i just saw this thread! i really like the look of your bike. i can see where you put countless hours into detail, and im sure others can too. very clean, and i like the way you kept it black and "old school" looking. i may just use your bike as an idea or 2 for mine before its finished....if ever...lol. thanks for sharring, and let me get back to reading all the replies to this thread....black betty......Joe
