86 police cruzer

bike with seat and sissy bar from rear ( to those of you that notice the honda tag on the seat,
its comming off and if you could please refer mr to where i could get a nice kaw one to replace id be thankful )

this is a close up of just the seat and how well it fits to the front.


The rear seat ended up bolting right to the rear finder support after removing the bracket,
but there isint any support in the rear and i will have to make a bracket for it as well as two brackets and pad for the sissy bar.

I'm actually leaving the fairing and bags on, but will be repainting it, and as i do that i will take pics of the whole process. The color i was thinking is flame blue pearl it was on the 2009 HD color list. and here is a pic taken head on showing the persut lights changed to clear driving lights.

When ever I get a KZP, the only thing I'm changing is to add a rear seat. All the Police stuff stays on. (though I might do the persuit light/ driving light mod).

Mine is an '81. I added a rear seat and figured a way to keep the police trunk. Changed the pursuit lights to head lights and had it painted. I love it. It's an original old school tank. :woohoo:

hello dblhdr, nice looking bike, im noticing it is the last c police, is the fairing origanal? That is close to the look i want to go with mine. When i got it i was the third civilan owner so the siren was removed and the lights were already converted to drivers. Mine had the little radio box that is pretty much worthless so i let it and the mount go. Some thing else done to mine befor i got it was two brackets were added to the rear crash bar/ bumper to mount turn signals similar to the fronts. You can see them in this pic.

i like them so much better then the farm trailer original.

Mine is the last C model made it is a C-4 and was the first one to have the frame mounted fairing from the factory. Mine has the rear turn signals mounted on the crash bars in a different place, They are the old tractor type signals Ugly as hell. Mine also had the rear box carrier with the shock absorber on it.I did some fabricating and kept it. I'm glad I did I was able to keep the trunk and make it look somewhat like it belonged like that all along, Mine still has the siren and it comes in mighty handy when someone changes lanes on top of me. I also added the headlight and running light visors to change the look a little from the cop fairing.

Good looking bike bushman8377. Those rear signals do look better.

That row of Kaws does look intimidating, especially the one on the far end. Notice the Harleys in the background keeping their distance. Was that the smell of fear in the air, or just deep fried catfish fritters? Riding season can't get here fast enough.

I love riding with those guys. :laugh: it's great to have a herd of KAW's all around you when you're going down the road. A couple of those bikes are freakin' great lookers, and they run and sound fantastic. :woohoo:
Harleys are alright but they are a dime a dozen any more. everyone and their mom has them. The REAL head turners are the old school super bikes. THe KZ's.
I think that smell was catfish.

Not catfish...............RICE.... which can be used as bio fuel.......go KZ.
