mini-project KZ550 was created by mjg15
I bought this a couple years ago. I just did a clean-up and switched out a few parts . Got rid of a bunch of rusty and tweaked bits. Also switched out the bodywork for a clean set that I had. Before and After pics below. Not exactly dramatic , but it's a big change up close

I really like the leaner look of removing the pinstripeing

The seat cover is from Saddleman. It's a copy of an '81 GPz550 (KZ550-D1). They should have it available , I sent them an old one to cut up for a pattern. $69 IIRC.
