I have spent the last year in breaking down my KZ. It has been both fun and dissapointing at times. I would like some advice from you that understand what it means to own one of these truly exceptional machines.
Currently it is on a jack for oil change, rear tire replacement, cable replacement etc. I kept looking at the rusty bolts, tarnished covers, and other nicks and scratches and now it is separated into 4 different piles.
I am considering powder coating the exhaust and motor covers in chrome or remaining with the black exhaust and motor covers in green.
My personality says go with black and green but my enjoyment of the attention it gets says go with the chrome.
