first year 1979 kz1300. six cylinders, 120 hp, 650+ pounds. felt everyone as i unloaded it off the truck (with sticking calipers no less).
9500 mile, all original two owner bike. been stored twenty years. i'm content right now just to look at it....

Nice looking bike! Any chance you also got the top of the airbox?
Before you do anything swap out the cam chain tensioner. They're very untrustworthy. APE sells a manual tensioner or you can use one from a ZX11.

i knew about the zx11 one, did not know ape made one too. it does turn over pushed in 4th and shift through the gears.Hi Ronin,

the seller was completely torn up about selling it. took beau coup pictures of it before and after it was loaded in the truck.pint has a little clear coat peel around the stripes and some hazing of the paint on the plastic, but i'm leaving it as is.yes i have the airbox top and chrome end pieces
i may put it on ebay though.....i just stumbled apon a 1500 mile 99 zrx1100.
