The rearset itself is actually quite creative, especially considering you crafted it out of plate or flat bar. Its pretty cool what you can make with a few power tools and a welder.
You two really need to get a room...that's waaaaay too much PDA!

dirt bike pegs don't fit the "look"
sportbike pegs just look too modern
we need some muscle bike pegs
maybe a chunky aluminum version of stock pegs.
hmmm,scratches head  .

Leon, we are on the same wavelenght here. That's why I'm gonna work out some fabricated pegs. I just need time. I'm crazy busy right now, so I fear progress may be slow. I have the whole week of Thankgsgiving off, so I'm hoping to get something done then. That's when I'm not cooking turkeys for the big family shindig at my place. I really wish that the mill guys weren't so busy or we could bust out some pegs. However I can't cut in on the paying jobs.

does it seem like it will help with traction, now ? it just looks very smooth in the pic ?

That looks pretty good.

It actually helps a little. Honestly, the only time I could see having a problem is if it were really raining to the point that everything was wet. Now, I don't intentionally ride in those conditions, but you do get caught out occasionally. I'll probably paint them with some of that textured non-slip paint or spray on bedliner for added insurance.
