ANOTHER old kawi project

I know the kz1000 is my main priority, but once agiain i found another great buy i couldnt pass up. I did have a couple s2 350cc triples, but i found out that parting out rare motorcycles is a great way to make some extra $$$. Some of the international bidders will pay outrageous prices to get good original parts. I loved the triples, but for what i got for them, i couldnt pass it up. Then i found a guy who said he had a bunch of old motorcycles, and parts. On his shop floor was 4 h1 500 motors, and he said he wanted $100 a piece. I told him i would take all of them and walked out spending a mere $300! Most are complete, or missing just a few parts. Splitting them among a couple buddies of mine that want one also. Not sure where i want to go with this project, but i have an rd350 frame that is just asking to have a triple stuffed in it. A member over at the triples forum has built 3-4 kawasaki H powered rd's. Might like to go for a vintage race bike look, but i dont know. What do you guys think? any input? good deal?

The RD project sounds interesting. I love the two strokes so you have my attention.

I would like to stuff one of those in a Schwinn Stingray frame!

I'm thinking a newer ninja frame if you can find one light enough.

Thats an interesting idea. the motor has some power , but they were missing the handleing part of the formula. maybe u should go for a handleing type theme, with a more modern frame?:side:

Somebody do it that would be awesome. I have a friend with a h1 I'm gonna ride it next summer when Im on vacation see if its something I'd like to ride often If it is I might make a streettracker out of it.

i'm thinking a yahama blaster or a go cart would be cool.
dangerous as all hell but cool at the same time.

or maybe find an old junk snowmobile and make a foot clutch - hand shift suicide machine.
