On the bottle Project. was created by likes2gofast2009
So I have been toying around with the idea of running a small bottle on my KZ (25-50 shot). I have a 1980 KZ1000 LTD (B4), motor is completely stock.
What I was wondering is, what has to be done before I throw a kit like this on? Any advice? Go with a it, don't go with it? Any other suggestions on doing something to it instead of a nitrous kit?
Sorry, I am totally new to bikes and everything about them... So go ahead and criticize if I sound like an idiot, because I need to know.

I would like to go with a nitrous setup myself, but am now afraid my motor build will already be too much for me to handle. Although i do think that any motor should be able to take a 25hp shot, stock or not. The only problem with adding considerable power is that you should probably have the crank welded which would require a total tear down instead of a few bolt ons.

for sure at least a welded crank and if the budget allows forged pistons would be a real good investment.

the nice thing about the dyna ignition over the stock unit is that it is hotter better spark if you use dyna coils as well( more primary windings) also there are many add on's available as well(two-steps,shift counters, shift lights) lots of other little goodies as well.
