A chrome finish is cool but real chrome isn't good for a frame, the chroming weakens the frame. Now you can have it nickle plated without weakening the frame.

ive got a chrome plated frame on my origional turbo that was done in the early 80s that hasnt had any issues i also know of another 76 kz that the frame was plated just before mine and has been ridden endlessly with a couple differant motors that is ridden practically year around when weather permits without any problems

make sure you dont tell ron thats an imron job on that 76 that was painted back in like 92 from my 1st turbo bike project that ended up on that bike years later that still looks new! :laugh:
