KZ750 Ltd What would you guys pay in the USA? was created by Tommotbird
Hi, I just bought this bike on Ebay as I couldn't resist it. I seem to be a KZ kleptomaniac but not quite as bad as the Gringo- sorry Andy.
I paid your equivalent of $430 here in the UK. It has done 25,600 miles and not been on the road for the past 7 years- it has been in dry storage. I haven't seen it yet but it seemed like too good a deal to good to miss.
Anyway it is my birthday tomorrow so I thought I would buy myself a little present:laugh:
Just wondered what sort of price you would pay for a bike like this in the US.

Most of it seems to be intact. Seems like you paid a fair price - assuming it runs...

bike prices are relative to where you live. I'm in PEI canada and if that bike was running you get $1000 - $2000CAD on a private sale no prob.

Thanks everyone for your views (and birthday wishes of course- I don't make a big deal of my birthdays these days except maybe buy a bike)
I will collect the bike at the weekend and will know a bit more of what I am in for.
I will post a clearer picture of its condition when I collect.

Geoff I hate to be the one to tell you this but you are the English equivalent of The Gringo. Your collection mirrors mine pretty closely but you have a few more 750 LTD's, what is this one number 4? Anyway it looks to be a nice score for the money I'd love to be able to get one of those Motad exhaust systems over here, they look to be well made. And happy birthday old man.

Hi Andy
I have been making a serious effort to cut down on the number of bikes that I have.
I sold the Z900 & the KZ305 and then I have only bought another KZ1100, a CSR650 and this KZ750Ltd:laugh:
You have to be strong some times and part with a bike or two, but you have to make sure the others don't get lonely too!
