Project cafe' ace! was created by zeiss150
Hi there my KZ love'n friends. I started a Cafe' racer build about 2 years ago and its almost done. I have put a tone of time and very little money into this project. I bought the 1978 KZ650 for $250. It was sold as a parts bike... but I had plans for it. I'm a pretty big fan of Kaw's... the only thing I don't like about the older bikes is the lack part... but that's not enough to stop me.
I have a post on kawasaki motorcycle forums web site... so instead of re-posting all of the pictures I have I think I'll just post a link to my thread on the other website. I hope that's ok? If the moderators don't like that then I suppose I will post up all the pictures.

Enjoy the thread and please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks!

That looks good, nice job. I bet you feel good. I like to keep them as stock as possible.

Looks good! Only thing I would suggest is taking your throttle and clutch cables down to an automotive shop and having them take a couple of inches off of them so they don't stick out as much, other than that its one classy ride!

Got my vote... Me likey a lot!
Only one comment (I know, I know)... Buff the dyno/stator cover to match the cc sprocket cover...
Other than that... Sweet ride!
