1982 GPZ 1100, 1328 MTC big block kit, 10.5:1, ported head, shim underbuckets, 2-4 over swingarm, new battery. 33 mm roundslides, Street legal. talked to the owner, mentioned the built crank and brand name rods, kossman widened stock rear wheel, bunch of other stuff.runs, rides, needs chain, valve cover gasket, fork seals, shifter shaft seal,

I think US$2000 is fair but things to watch out for are:
1. All that supposed engine work and extended swingarm just screams 'thrash me!'. This bike may have had a hard life.
2. Find out why the owner is using 1981 body work instead of 1982 body work...this means either it is a 1981 bike or the body work was replaced and this might mean accident...which says things about handling and front end.
The more I look at it, the more I think it is a 1981 model, engine cover, left side, has been replaced with 1983/4 model. If the current owners says it is a 1982 (check the VIN, both frame and motor) then he may actually not know much about the bike which brings into question all the internal motor mods...

yeah im guessing its had a lot of hard miles but it looks like its got a bigblock from the pictures anyway, sounds reasonable enough if the title/vin match up i guess.
