The photos are kinda crappy but you can see the valve seats. First time I ever cut valve seats. apparently the inttake seats are made from a softer material then the exhaust seats cuz they were really easy to cut. I used a really nice neway cutter for it and it worked great. highly recommend it.

I got the tires changed out for new ones. The new ones are Chen shin Barracuda 120/90 on the rear and a Metzeler 100/90 on the front. Mismatched I know but they cost about 30 bucks a piece brand new.

The shocks are some generic piggybacks. They don't have a name or anything on them. All I know is that they are 13.3 inches from eyelet to eyelet, they are pretty damn stiff, and they cost about 80 bucks on ebay. Which I thought was kinda cheap but since they don't have any name on them I'm sure thats why. Hopefully once I get the engine in they will be loaded down a little more and be slightly plusher. Of course I weigh 250 pounds and I tend to ride the shocks hard so it should be ok. I'm just worried about the fronts keeping up. I may need to do some fabricating in the valving on front to make it stiffer but I'll cross that road when I get there.

 Has shock pre-load adjustment been checked?
Thinking maybe it's set too high.

Good Luck! :)

Alright, well I blew most of the engine building money on a trip to florida (which was worth it) and a 21st B-day party for a friend that ended in jail (not worth it). So i put the 810 motor on a back burner and pulled a 650 C motor that I rebuilt awhile back out of the barn. I installed it yesterday so that I can get all the wiring done and sort out any problems. Then I'll ride the bike for awhile with this motor and when the 810 gets done I'll tear everything apart for paint and assemble it all. Till then, here are some update pics.
