What can i do to reduce weight? what seems to be the lightest rear end and front end that can be put on it? how much can i drop by removing the seat?

sport bike conversions are probably the lightest weight options.i built myself a cro-mo swingarm and used an r1 rear wheel and while i am not sure how much weight i dropped.you can lift the old parts and compare that to the new parts and there is a good amount of weight difference.those old mags are heavy.
i like the look and stance of your bike,i am not crazy about the color.it is your bike and you are the one that needs to be happy with it.thanks for postin and keep us up to date.
i think your bike kinda has a moriwaki look to it,kinda like this.

I have a set off a shaft drive that I think will fit perfectly. Holler if you want them. I'll make you a good deal on them. I have a tank too..

Larry, just a quick heads up - the sidecovers from the ST shaft are not exactly the same as chain MKll's,complete with different part#'s. Only two of the 3 mounting pins will line up with frame tabs - I've got one on my street MKll and I always thought they were the same until I lost one and replaced it with an ST cover. Seems to me someone told me the tank/duckbill's are slightly different as well, but I'll leave that one to a more knowledgeable source...

wo that moriwaki is very similat to what i am trying to do with mine, i want mine to look a little more like a street bike though. i just ordered the Kosman clutch release kit for my bike. i got it for 20 bucks on ebay, hell of a deal right? my biggest concern right now is what is the lightest front suspension i could put on my bike. anyone got any ideas? i have one sitting in my garage from a gsxr 1100, but its not very adjustable compared so some i have seen.
