Okay okay, it's been said more than once I know. But we need pics!!!!! I would love to see the steps that went into that build!!! As a fellow kz650 cafe builder/rider I need to know!!!! Seriously, great looking bike!

Thanks man.

I'll try to scrounge up some step by step pics. Here's a list of the work that was done/parts that were purchased:

-1979 KZ650B2A
-Tomasselli three way adjustable clip ons
-GSXR hand controls/throttle
-Lamp brackets
-Euro Harley Davidson H4 headlamp
-GSXR750R stabilizer
-GPZ1100 fuel tank (Shaved)
-Added second caliper/rotor setup, but I'm putting something better on.
-Rejetted to 117.5 mains and 20 slows
-UNI pod filters
-new 530 chain conversion
-CBR rearsets
-Glass from the Past fiberglass "Slippery Sam" tail piece
-Custom wiring harness
-Dual LED tail lights with custom mount bracket
-ZRX1100 shocks
-Resprung front forks
-KZ750B single disc rear end conversion
-Custom rear plate bracket (adjuster mount)
-New spokes/nipples
-New brake pads all around

Here's some upcoming stuff:

-Frame/tank/tail repainted
-CBR929RR calipers/rotors
-Shave the rest of the frame
-Relocate electrical again

Beautiful bike. Really like the seat, flows well with the whole bike.

Love the rear shocks too. Are they are direct bolt on?

Also, did the rearsets just bolt on to stock frame holes or was some fabrication needed?

The shocks are a direct bolt on, but they are longer than stock. ;)

The rearsets were modded. I had to drill two holes in the frame to mount them.

I'm making mount plates though so I don't have to use those holes.

UPDATE: FRAMEWORK



I didn't like how the tank/tail looked together. They weren't in line with eachother. Now they are.

Shaved everything else while I was at it. Just gotta finish cleaning it up.
