2 good news items. #1 You are mending and going to continue two wheeling. #2 That green machine will run the roads again also.

That Brit shore can make nice bikes but I got to admit.. for me... looking at too much of his stuff is like too much candy as a kid. I suddenly want to look at classics for a while. It's like I had too many chocolates and now I'm ready for that Cheeseburger!!!

Hey Shoe48 that is a nice lookin' cafe you got there. What pipe is that on the bike? I am going to need to order one soon. Also, who can tell me what size K&N's I need to order? I will make some more progress and post as soon as I can, but today I am going on the flood run on my 02 ZRX1200R :woohoo: Minnesota and Wisconsin, suppose to be thousands of bikes! Yee-Ha!

Wow. What a gorgeous weekend. Put 228 miles on my ZRX... Saw literally thousands of bikes, and a few were not Harley's!

I got to make some more progress on the cafe this afternoon. The clubman bars and custom headlight came in the mail. I cut the left side passenger foot peg mount off the frame... I left the right side one on to mount the new Mac pipe to. Then I painted the small parts. They turned out great and the Viper Red is gonna look sweet! This bike is gonna be a head turner... Check out the top triple tree.

Still waiting for someone to give me word on the aircleaners...

Air Cleaners .. Mine were 50mm in size you will need two You could just measured them , I got mine Off Ebay ,, The Problem.. There are no larger jets avalible in the states so you have to use small drills to enlarge them ,, small steps are better ,, I did not do this as I have a friend in England that sent them to me .. The Pipe is a Mac two into one with a Honda 750 four Muffler on it .. It was expensive to buy both ..

In that case I am just going to use a Mac two into one system. As far as the jets go.... That is a bummer because if you get them to big, you can't go backwards. Still gonna try it though. I have one extra set of carbs that will have to donate it's jets if I screw up. I have made more progress but nothing exciting enough to show off just yet... Seat should be here soon. Stay tuned.

Ok everybody. I got the seat in the mail yesterday and am no longer being held up by waiting on parts. It was a good fit for this bike and fitting it to the frame was very easy. I think it has a great look for this bike! I took the sawzall to the back of the frame and removed a good chunk. Then welded some sheet metal to the ugly holes I had created in the square tubes by the shock mounts. Ground that all smooth. Then Weld a 1" square tube across the frame at the front for the seat to sit on and mount to... The next day I get to work on it, I will paint the frame and maybe the body work. Then we can put this baby back together. What you thinks so far?
